Mike is the Executive Principal of Knutsford Multi-Academy Trust. He began teaching in 1987 and was a successful secondary school headteacher before being appointed HMI in 2002. During his time with Ofsted, Mike was National Director. Mike has extensive leadership and management experience and has worked with the most senior figures in education. He is married with two children who are both at secondary school.
